Enel is part of Fondazione Sistema, the Alliance established to strengthen the competitiveness of the productive system through collaboration among businesses, industry, finance, and associations.
The growth and acceleration of investments by the Enel Group require a robust supply chain that is ready to face the challenges of the energy transition. For this reason, we believe in building a virtuous ecosystem capable of enabling companies, capabilities and competitiveness to grow together.
It is with this vision that Enel joined Fondazione Sistema as a founding member. The Foundation was created from the shared commitment of the partners of the Open-es Alliance to strengthen the capacity to engage the key players of the national system.
Fondazione Sistema was established as a shared forum for guidance and discussion, with the ambition of progressively bringing together the leading organizations of the Italian system and pooling contributions from industry, finance, associations, institutions and other key stakeholders to define shared priorities, models and approaches in support of businesses and supply chains.
The objective is to transform this collaboration into concrete actions supporting companies, helping to simplify their journey, reduce complexity and duplication, and create increasingly favorable conditions for growth, innovation and the development of the productive system.
Open-es is the operational platform of Fondazione Sistema and, thanks to the contribution and expertise of all the partners of the Open-es Alliance, supports companies in their development journey and promotes coordination across supply chains.
Open-es provides companies with a digital platform that enables them to:

- identify areas for improvement and development paths;
- access tools, training and best practices;
- engage with an international community of companies and stakeholders;
- enhance their performance through a shared, transparent model recognized across supply chains.
