Enel launched in Brazil on August 1st a Startups Call that offers investments of up to R$ 1.5 million, an Immersion in Berkeley University in San Francisco, opportunities for commercial partnerships and acceleration.

Energy Start was the first partnership program with startups for the Electric Sector in Latin America. Reinforcing the Open Innovation model, the Enel Group called other companies, investment funds and accelerators as partners in the call, adding new opportunities for participating startups. In addition to investing in business development, the project encourages the creation of an ecosystem of startups in the electric sector. Our mission is to open the energy universe to new technologies and partnerships in search of business and opportunities to improve services, generate value for our customers and for society. The areas of interest for the Call are: Digitization, Renewable Energy + Storage, Fintech, Energy Efficiency, Smart Cities + Electric Mobility and Social Development.
