The Italian-Israeli partnership to boost electric mobility

Enel has been awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a grant for the development of an integrated solution of a battery-backed EV fast charging station.

The project, submitted by Holding Startup Initiatives and Business Incubator team and the e-Mobility unit of e-Solutions, envisages the development of an integrated solution which includes charging stations, storage, renewable sources and a software able to analyze consumptions and make the charging more efficient and to minimize grid-connection investment costs for DC fast charging.

The technology, that will be addressed primarily to on-route fast charging stations, will be able to contribute to network stability, improving the overall business case of fast charging installations in the long term.

The project will be run in partnership with the Israeli startup Chakratech and has been awarded in the framework of the Italy-Israel Cooperation Agreement.
