Nowadays, everything is digital, quicker, more intuitive and safer. All essential aspects to protect a partnership. Innovation has reached all areas of our business, so we have decided to digitalise also the way we manage our relationship with suppliers.
Communicating in ways that guarantee the protection of the sensitive data we receive, is an additional precaution in a business based on mutual respect.
Signatures, are the way of authenticating documents and sealing relationships.
To simplify the exchange of documents during the various stages of the relationships with its partners (documents signed by legal representatives and sent to partners and vice versa), Enel is gradually introducing the use of electronic documents with digital signatures, in compliance with the applicable regulations.
The document authentication process meets three essential requirements:
- Authenticity, as it allows to identify the sender;
- Acknowledgement, as it prevents the sender from not recognising a document signed by them;
- Integrity, as it prevents the receiver from acting on a document signed by someone else.
To guarantee the maximum integrity and security in its relationship with suppliers, Enel has decided to apply a “time stamp” to each file sent and received, in order to be able to verify exactly when a document was signed.
In this contest, paperless is the key word for a more sustainable future.
