Our market keeps evolving and innovation means for us being always able to offer the best service with a special attention to the environment.
The amount of work, goods and services we require increases every day, and we need to satisfy a range of different requests from all our Units. Therefore, the relationship with our suppliers is essential to all our future achievements.
Every day we interact with many suppliers and being able to manage all business stages in a clear and efficient way is a priority.
The first and most important step in this direction was to define a well-structured and rational list of Merchandise Groups, to create a catalogue consisting of our suppliers’ proposals from the moment they register on the Global Procurement Portal and guide them through this stage, and in all our future relations.
This list can be easily viewed in the Global Procurement Portal: once the suppliers identify the Merchandise Group they are interested in, they can select one or more Companies within the Group with which they wish to collaborate.
Each Merchandise Group has a different evaluation process: Scouting, Local Qualification or International Qualification.
The Merchandise Groups that require International Qualification are those strategic groups, which interest all Enel’s Global Procurement Units, typically characterised by global technical requirements.
