At Enel we value results and believe that to achieve them it is important to obey by the rules.
Especially when the work involves the participation of a number of different parties all following a common path – along which there are bound to be some difficulties – and all sharing the same success – which will be even more precious because achieved together.
Global and Local Procurement Units, who also need to follow specific rules, accompany partners along this common path: this guarantees safety for the Group and for everyone that works with us.
The Global Procurement Processes, Policies and Operational Control Unit defines and checks the local and global processes and policies, monitoring the information systems that manage the supply processes, and promoting and consolidating best practice initiatives, essential to reach the objectives.
Continuous improvement is essential to Enel.
This mission is assigned to the Global Suppliers Management and Development Unit, that works to protect our activities and those of our partners, answering the needs of the individual Procurement Units, searching for the best market opportunities in terms of innovation and getting new suppliers involved.
This unit manages the entire Supplier Qualification and Vendor Rating process, monitors and ensures that the List of suppliers and flow of information to the Business and Purchase Units is always up to date. Additionally, it coordinates Group projects and activities aimed to constantly improve and share “best practice” policies in terms of Health and Safety and contractor sourcing and management.
This way we can offer our collaborators the best protection, in order to improve, grow and work together for a more accessible, safe and sustainable energy.
